Luigi Lavazza SpA was founded in Turin in 1895 by Luigi Lavazza, and operated from a small shop in Via San Tommaso 10, Turin - which today is the location of Lavazza's only coffee shop. Today, the company is owned by the Lavazza family.

The company's strong focus on both the wholesale and retail markets, coupled with a strong marketing brand, has made Lavazza a brand known throughout the world - although it is not the largest global coffee brand.

Lavazza roast a wide selection of blends, including Lavazza Crema e Gusto, Lavazza Qualità Rossa, and Lavazza Qualità Oro.
